The two-day International Conference organized by Hetauda School of Management and Social Sciences has concluded successfully!

The International Conference on Capacity Development for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion began at Hetauda School of Management and Social Sciences on 17th February,2024. Hetauda School of Management and Social Sciences commenced International Conference on Capacity Development for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion. The event aimed to foster discussions and collaborations to enhance capacity in the realms of innovation and entrepreneurship on 17th and 18th February.

Day 1. (17th February, 2024)

The inauguration ceremony of Day 1 witnessed a prestigious gathering of esteemed personalities from various sector. The International Conference on Capacity Development for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Hetauda School of Management and Social Sciences concluded successfully after two days of insightful discussions and collaborative engagements.

The inauguration ceremony on Day 1 welcomed esteemed personalities from various sectors, setting the tone for the enriching event:

  • Chairperson of the event, Mr. Dev Prasad Shrestha, Head of the Management Committee at Hetauda School of Management.
  • Chief Guest: Dr. Devaraj Adhikari, Chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
  • Guest of Honor: Ms. Minakumari Lama, Mayor of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City; International Expert Mr. Ignace Karthaus, Senior Expert from the Netherlands; and Prof. Pushkar Bajracharya, Senior Management Educator.
  • HSMSS principal Mr. Puran Bahadur Joshi extended a warm welcome to all participants.

The inaugural day witnessed insightful sessions covering a diverse range of topics:

  1. Startup Policies: Dr. Pavitra Gautam and Mr. Niraj Khanal delved into the intricacies of startup policies and their implications.
  2. Incubators within Academics: Dr. Naresh Sachdev and Mr. Sashi Bhattarai explored the role of academic incubators in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
  3. Academia-Industry Linkage: Expert insights from Henk Ter Stege and Mr. Lekhraj Pokhrel emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia and industry for mutual growth.
  4. Future of Work: Mr. Rajiv Sharma and Ms. Prashansha Pandey provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of work and the implications for innovation.

The conference served as a platform for meaningful exchanges, networking opportunities, and the exploration of pathways toward a more innovative and entrepreneurial society.

Day 2

The two-day International Conference on City Development, organized by Hetauda School of Management and Social Sciences, concluded on 18th February with resounding success. The second day of the conference aimed to foster discussions and collaborations on various aspects of city development and innovation, drawing insights from esteemed panelists and participants.

Panel Discussions: The conference featured engaging panel discussions covering a wide array of topics:

  4.
